There are two situations in which Whalemate stops letting you into the dashboard and shows you a screen instead of the dashboard. This article explains which is which, what each one means, and what to do.
What you see. A screen with the title Company blocked and the text "Your company's account has been blocked. Please contact support for help.", with a Go to login button.
What it means. Access to the dashboard is suspended for your entire company, not just for your user. You can log in with your password, but instead of the dashboard you land on this screen.
What to do. Write to us through the support channel you usually use, or to your sales contact. We are the ones who lift the block; there's no action you can take from the platform.
The Go to login button logs you out and takes you to the login screen. As long as the account remains blocked, when you log back in you'll end up here again: it's not a platform error.
What you see. A screen with the title Your trial period has ended and the text "Your free trial has ended. To keep using Whalemate, please contact support.", with the same Go to login button.
What it means. Your account was in a trial period and the expiration date has already passed. This is different from a block: here nothing is suspended, the trial period simply ended.
What to do. Contact your sales advisor to switch to an active account. Once that's registered, you'll log back in with the same credentials and with your information exactly as you left it.
While your account is in a trial period, the side menu shows a Free trial card that tells you when it expires, with a note to contact your sales advisor to keep full access.
When 5 days or fewer remain, the card adds a red "Soon!" label. This is the moment to write to your advisor if you want to continue: that way the change is made before the expiration and you won't end up seeing the trial-ended screen.
In both situations, what gets cut off is access to the dashboard; your information is not deleted. Loaded collaborators, campaigns, courses, enrollments, and history remain exactly as they were. When access is restored, you log in and find everything in the same state.
What you should keep in mind: while access is cut off, no one on your team can enter the dashboard, so tasks that depend on someone reviewing them from the platform go unattended.
Is "Company blocked" the same as "trial ended"?
No. Trial ended is the end of the term of a trial account and is resolved with your sales advisor. Company blocked is a suspension of access and is resolved by writing to support. The two screens look similar, but the title is different, as is who can unlock it for you.
Does this only happen to me or to my whole team?
To the entire company. It's not an issue with your user or your password, so there's no need to reset it or create another login.
I clicked "Go to login" and ended up back on the same screen.
That's expected: the button logs you out and takes you back to the login screen, but until the situation is resolved you'll keep landing on the same screen when you log in.
Do I lose my data if my trial expires?
No. Your information stays saved; the only thing that gets cut off is access to the dashboard.
How do I know when my trial expires?
Through the Free trial card in the side menu, which is visible while the trial is active and adds the "Soon!" label when 5 days or fewer remain.
