You log in without a password: access arrives at your email or you use the account you already work with.
You can log back in whenever you want, even if you've lost the invitation email.
You know what to do when the link doesn't arrive or stops working.
With an email link
This is the most direct way. On the home screen you type your corporate email and click Log In.
The screen confirms that you should check your inbox and shows you the address the email was sent to. You open that email, click the link, and go straight into the portal: there's no password to create or remember.
If the email doesn't arrive, on that same screen you have Resend to request a new one.
While the link logs you in, you'll briefly see a screen that says "Logging in." This is normal and lasts a few seconds.
With your company's account
Below the form there are four buttons for logging in with an account you already have: Google, Microsoft, Okta, and Auth0.
All four buttons always appear, but only the one your company has configured will work. If you don't know which one applies to you, check with whoever administers Whalemate in your organization.
With Google and Microsoft, login is direct. With Okta and Auth0, the platform first asks for the email you're registered with and from there takes you to your provider's screen.
When the link takes you to a specific place
Sometimes the email doesn't leave you on the main screen but directly in a course. This is intentional: assignment and reminder emails include a direct link to the training assigned to you. Afterward you can move to the rest from My Learning.
I entered my email and nothing arrived.
First check your spam folder. If it's not there either, use Resend on the same screen. If it still doesn't arrive, your address may not be loaded in the platform: let whoever administers Whalemate in your company know.
Which of the four buttons do I need to use?
The one that corresponds to the account you work with at your company. All four are shown to everyone, but only the one configured by your organization will complete the login.
Do I have to create a password?
No. The portal doesn't use your own passwords: you log in with the email link or with your company's account.
I clicked the link and it wouldn't let me in.
Go back to the home screen, enter your email, and request a new link. Links are for one-time access, and the most recent one is the one that's valid.
Can I log in from my phone?
Yes. It works the same way: you open the email on your phone and the link takes you to the portal.
