Allows any collaborator to report a suspicious email with a single click, without leaving Gmail.

When installing the application, Google will request the following permissions. It is important that the administrator is aware of them before installing:

These permissions are requested only once, during organization-level installation. End users do not need to approve anything individually.
Log in to the Admin Center with a Google Workspace administrator account
In the left side menu, go to Apps → Google Workspace Marketplace Apps → Apps List
Click on Install app
The Google Workspace Marketplace will open. Search for "Whalemate"
Follow the steps indicated to install the application for the entire organization
After installation, the button may take between 24 and 48 business hours to appear for all users in the organization. It is not an immediate process.
Once the installation has propagated, the button appears in the right sidebar of Gmail when opening any email.
Does each collaborator have to install something individually?
No. The installation is performed once by the Google Workspace administrator, and applies to the entire organization.
How long does it take for the button to appear after installing it?
Between 24 and 48 business hours for it to appear for all users in the organization.
What information is sent when a user reports an email?
The content of the selected message is sent along with its metadata (subject, sender, date) and the email address of the person reporting, so that Whalemate can analyze it.
Does the user who reports need to accept permissions every time they use the button?
No. Permissions are granted only once at the organization level during installation
Where does the button appear within Gmail?
In the right sidebar, when opening any email.
